Undergraduate student in Oceanography at the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo (IOUSP) and currently doing an academic research at School of Science, Engineering and Environment at University of Salford collaborating in projects involving environmental DNA and molecular ecology fully funded by São Paulo Research Foundation (BEPE FAPESP). My project in Brazil is also fully funded by São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) that I'm working with DNA barcode of marine species not cataloged in a genetic sequence database to support research with DNA Metabarcoding as a method of monitoring biodiversity of coastal islands. I have experience in biological analysis and bioinformatics using R programming language, laboratory techniques in molecular biology, field work and environmental samples collection and analyses of oceanographic data, Im also scuba diver certified by PADI.
