Generalist Pharmacist from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dentistry and Nursing of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). During graduation (2017 - 2022), she developed Scientific Initiation projects at the Laboratory of Neuropsychopharmacology (LNF) of the Center for Research and Development of Medicines (NPDM/UFC), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Danielle Macêdo, with animal models of mental disorders (depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder), and emphasis on molecular mechanisms of action of antidepressant drugs, drug redirection and neuroinflammation/immunomodulation. He has experience in the cultivation of cell lines, animal neurobehavioral evaluation, fluorescence microscopy and molecular assays - Western Blotting and ELISA. Currently, she is a PhD student in the Graduate Program in Pharmacology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (ICB/USP) under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Carolina Demarchi Munhoz at the Laboratory of Neuroendocrinopharmacology and Immunomodulation (LaNEFI). With emphasis on animal (tMCAO) and cellular (PGO) models of ischemia to investigate the role of the G-Protein Coupled Estrogen Receptor (GPER) in angiogenesis and neuroprotection.
