Amanda Akemy Komorizono

PhD student in the Materials Science and Engineering Program at the São Carlos Physics Institute (USP). Physical Engineer and Master in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of São Paulo. I developed scientific initiation for 3 years in the area of Biomaterials under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Durval Rodrigues Junior and co-supervision Me Pérsio Mozart Pinto, working with the porous Ti-13Nb-13Zr alloy and biodegradable magnesium alloys for application in prosthetics. I participated in the Academic Center for Physical Engineering for 2 years, during the first year as Financial Director and in the second as President, in which I developed experience in teamwork, management and leadership. I completed a 10-month internship at the National Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), where I worked with carbon nanomaterials. I have experience in synthesis and reduction of graphene oxide via laser reduction, chemical reduction and thermal reduction and synthesis of nanocomposites based on rGO and semiconductor metal oxides for application in toxic gas sensors.
