Doctorate in Evolutionary Genetics and Molecular Biology at Federal University of São Carlos (2022). Visiting researcher at Molecular Cytogenetics Laboratory of Jena University (Germany) (2019). Currently is a member of the Laboratory of Evolutionary Cytogenetics (LEC), developing research projects at the Cytogenetic and Molecular Genetic area, emphasizing isolation and characterization of satellite DNAs in fish and mammal species focucsing on the role of repetitive DNA in the sex chromosome origin and differentiation, as well the role in chromosomal rearrangements.
