Juliana de Almeida received the M.Sc. degree in science from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) and the Ph.D. degree in chemistry from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), both in Brazil. She performed her M.Sc. final research project in electrochemistry and CO2 conversion, where her interest in chemistry materials and renewable energy was triggered. She obtained a Ph.D. for research in the synthesis and characterization of metal oxide semiconductor materials for CO2 conversion, during which a period was performed at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) - USA. Currently, she was Re fellowship from the National Institute of Alternative Technologies for Toxicological Detection, Evaluation and Removal of Emerging and Radioactive Contaminants (INCT-DATREN) to work with a metallic thin film modified with metal-organic framework.
