Daniel holds a PhD in the Graduate Program in Geosciences, with a research focus on Geoconservation, Education, and Science Communication. He earned his undergraduate degree in Social Communication Advertising from Mackenzie University (2000) and a postgraduate degree in Service Marketing from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP). He has also pursued studies in Sustainability and in Teaching Geosciences and Environmental Education (IGC, University of São Paulo).He works on research projects related to karst environments and science communication, with caves as the central theme.Author of three books on speleology, Daniel has also contributed as a co-author to several other publications in Brazil and abroad.As a marketing professional, he has built a solid corporate career in the consumer goods, services, technology, and innovation sectors, focusing on brand design and strategic planning.Since 2018, he has been involved in basic education, developing projects that bring caves (speleology) into elementary education through an interdisciplinary approach. His work in speleology and academic research has been recognized with both national and international awards.Among his most recent achievements is the coordination of the permanent exhibition project at the Peruaçu Caves National Park in Itacarambi, Minas Gerais.
