York Castillo Santiago

York Castillo Santiago holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad del Atlántico (2016) and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Fluminense Federal University (2024). He has experience in Chemical and Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on Gasification and Pyrolysis (biomass and petroleum residues), computational modeling of chemical kinetics and heat transfer of thermochemical conversion processes, use of urban solid waste, gas turbines and microturbines, thermodynamics, biorefineries, thermoelectric generation, cogeneration, renewable energies (biofuels) and life cycle analysis.
