Professor of the Department of Food Science and Technology (LCA) of the "Luiz de Queiroz" College of Agriculture (ESALQ) at the University of Sao Paulo (USP), where she carries out teaching (undergraduate and postgraduate courses), research, and extension activities. In addition, she coordinates the Extension Group in Water and Food Microbiology (Gema), she is a member of the Municipal Council of Food Security and Nutrition (COMSEA) in the city of Piracicaba, SP, she supervises students in the Integrated Food Systems PhD program at USP, and she serves as an associate researcher at the Food Research Center (FoRC), one of the Research, Innovation, and Diffusion Centers supported by FAPESP. Moreover, she holds a degree in Nutrition from UNICEP (2005-2008), a masters in food and nutrition from FCFAr/UNESP (2010-2012), and a PhD in Food Science from FCF/USP (2012-2016). She also completed a research internship at Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA (2014-2015), and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at FCF/USP (2016-2018).
