Davinson Mariano da Silva

Professor in Faculdade de Tecnologia de São Paulo since 2011. Undergraduated in Materials, Processes and Electronic Components by Faculdade de Tecnologia de São Paulo (2005), Master in Electrical Engineering, by Escola Politécnica da USP (2007) e PhD in Sciences, by Escola Politécnica da USP (2012). I am the current responsible for Laboratório de Processamento e Caracterização de Materiais da Fatec-SP. In the last years I've been working in the development of glasses and thin films for Photonics applications and integrated optics. I also collaborate in works that aim the obtention of waveguides from glassy thin films. Recently I initiated a new research line in the institution involving the synthesis of biocompatible materials and nanoparticles for applications as quantum dots, photonics crystals and random lasers. I am experienced in materials characterization by microscopy, X rays, UV-VIS spectroscopy and thermal analysis, among others. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
