Lucilene Delazari dos Santos is graduated at Ciências Biológicas from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2002) and PHD. at Cellular and Molecular Biology from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2007). It is scientific researcher at the Biotechnology Institute (IBTEC) at UNESP, Botucatu, SP and professor of the Post-Graduation Program in Tropical Diseases, Medicinal School of Botucatu, UNESP. It has experience in Biochemistry of Proteins Lucilene Delazari dos Santos is graduated at Ciências Biológicas from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2002), PhD at Cellular and Molecular Biology from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP- Rio Claro) (2007) and two postdoctoral fellows with a scholarship from FAPESP and Shimadzu (2007-2011). Currently, she is a scientific researcher at the Institute of Biotechnology (IBTEC) at UNESP, Campus Botucatu, SP and professor at the Postgraduate Program in Tropical Diseases at the UNESP Botucatu School of Medicine. She has experience in the area of Protein Biochemistry, working mainly on the subject of Clinical Proteomics with an emphasis on Animal Toxins and Poisoning by venomous animals. She has skills in the characterization and purification of proteins and peptides from animal poisons, biological insumes and biological fluids in general, using high and low pressure liquid chromatography, two-dimensional electrophoresis, electrotransfer, immunodetection, enzymatic and biological assays, mass spectrometry, sequencing peptide by Edman's degradative chemistry and proteomic bioinformatics. Experience in mass spectrometers such as Maldi-ToF-ToF, ESI-ToF/MS and Orbitrap-ToF. Currently, she has as an experimental strategy the use of the Clinical Proteomics approach in several themes of translational medicine in her projects and that of her collaborators, in addition to working in scientific entrepreneurship projects with regard to the development of diagnostic/prognostic devices.
