Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine (2016) from Universidade Tiradentes, Aracaju, Sergipe, Brazil, with a sandwich program under the Brazilian Scientific Mobility Program (BSMP), CAPES, at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, United States (2014-2015). Scientific and Technological Initiation in Microbiology and Nanomedicine. Completed teaching internships in Basic Microbiology (2018) and Food Microbiology (2021) at Unicamp. Experience in Clinical Microbiology, viral isolation from clinical samples, viral genome sequencing, and genomic-epidemiological studies of emerging viruses. Currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Tropical Medicine, University of São Paulo (USP), working with sequencing and metagenomics within the Amazônia +10 initiative.
