Caio César Achiles do Prado

Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from the Federal University of Grande Dourados (2014-2018). Ph.D. in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Biotechnology at the School of Engineering of Lorena, University of São Paulo (EEL/USP) (2018-2023). Member of the research group on Aquatic Ecotoxicology and Effluent Characterization and Treatment at the School of Engineering of Lorena-USP, where research focused on the ecotoxicological effects of the imidazole drug ketoconazole on non-target aquatic organisms (Daphnia similis, Chironomus sancticaroli, and Raphidocelis subcapitata).Currently, a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of the Sea, Federal University of São Paulo (IM/Unifesp), investigating the impacts of microplastic contamination and pollution on bivalve organisms. Member of the research group LECMAR (Marine Ecotoxicology and Contamination Laboratory), which studies the relationship between microplastic contamination and pollution in marine and estuarine environments.
