Birthplace: Brazil

He is master in Physics from Universidade Federal Fluminense - UFF (2015) and a PhD from UFF (2019), with research focused on the area of #8203;#8203;General Theory of Particles and Fields. In 2018/2019, he completed a sandwich doctorate at KU Leuven, Belgium. The focus of his research is the study of strong interactions, in particular, phase transitions in High-Energy Physics, through the application of models based on the AdS/QCD duality. Such studies involve the configuration entropy in holographic QCD, the stability of black holes in anti-de Sitter spaces, and the effects (plasma rotation, quark chemical potential, strong magnetic field) that affect the confinement/deconfinement transition between the hadronic phase and the quark-gluon plasma one. He is also interested in the study of the infrared regime of non-Abelian gauge theories via Gribov copies, with a special focus on topological phases of matter. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
