Post-doctor researcher at São Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil, focused in analysis of functional genomics data, mainly tropical cattle transcriptome and proteome studies. Her master and doctor degrees, also received at UNESP, were dedicated to understand genes expression profile in Nellore cattle. She has a longstanding interest in bovine genetic improvement, molecular genetic techniques approaches and functional genetic tools applied to improvement of quality and feed efficiency of Nellore beef cattle production.
