Marcos Veiga dos Santos is a veterinarian graduated at FMVZ-USP, and completed his Ph.D. in Food Science at the University of São Paulo in 2001. In 2006, he was awarded the title of Associated Professor of FMVZ-USP. He is currently Full Professor of the Department of Animal Nutrition and Production (VNP) of FMVZ-USP. He has published 140 papers in scientific periodicals and 3 books. He supervised 31 master's dissertations, 7 doctoral orientations, and supervised 4 postdoctoral projects in the area of Dairy Production. He coordinated 22 research projects, and he was awarded a Research Productivity Fellowship CNPq Modality 1-D. He coordinates QUALILEITE-FMVZ-USP, Laboratory of Research on Milk Quality and is a member of the Editorial Committee of the Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Research and Animal Science, as Editor of the Area of Nutrition and Animal Production.
