Holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG, 2017). During her undergraduate studies, she was a research fellow at the Laboratory of Structural Biology and Reproduction (LABER ICB/UFMG), a member of the Veterinary Junior Enterprise (VetJr UFMG), and coordinator of a study group (GES). Worked as a Technical Promoter at MSD Animal Health (20172018), focusing on vaccines and vaccination protocols for dogs and cats. Holds a Masters degree in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases at UFTM, with a concentration in Applied Immunology and Parasitology (2021), where she conducted research on the identification of vaccine antigens against canine and human visceral leishmaniasis using genomic approaches and reverse vaccinology. Earned a PhD in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Basic and Applied Immunology at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School University of São Paulo (USP, 2025), with a focus on investigating the role of the inflammasome and its components in the development of leishmaniasis, using murine models and clinical patient samples.
