Holds a bachelor's degree in biological sciences from the University of São Paulo (2009), a master's degree in Entomology from the University of São Paulo (2012) and a Ph.D. degree (2017) from the same institution with a sandwich period at the Université de Lausanne. He has experience in the area of Entomology, with an emphasis in the areas of animal behavior, chemical ecology and reproductive ecology of stingless bees and computational modeling (Agent-based models), working mainly on the following topics: queen pheromones, sexual communication, and interspecific conflicts.
