Graduated in Biological Sciences from UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1990), Master's (1993) and Doctorate (1996) titles in Anatomy obtained at UNESP - Botucatu. Title of Associate Professor (Livre-Docencia) in Comparative Anatomy (2007) at UNESP - São José do Rio Preto. Full Professor (2023) at UNESP - São José do Rio Preto, working in the Graduation in Biological Sciences and in the Post-Graduation in Biodiversity. He has experience with anuran amphibians in the areas of Ecotoxicology, Morphology and Zoology, with emphasis on Morphological Biomarkers, Reproduction and Visceral Pigmentation of Anurans, mainly in the themes: hepatic and gonadal morphophysiology, pigmented cells (melanocytes and melanomacrophages); hepatotoxicity, genotoxicity, endocrine disruptors, and environmental contaminants. Active researcher with FAPESP and CNPq, obtaining numerous grants and scholarships for academics. CNPq Research Productivity Scholarship PQ-2 (Zoology Committee), from 2013 to 2019.
