Birthplace: Brazil

He holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the State University of Piauí (UESPI) in 2002.2 He completed his Master's Degree in Physics and Chemistry by the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI) in 2005.1 He completed his PhD in the area of concentration in Inorganic Chemistry by the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar-SP) in 2009.2. He holds a 3-year postdoctoral degree from Universidade Estadual Paulista de Araraquara (UNESP-SP) in 2012.2 and 7 months of scientific and regional development project (DCR) through the Foundation for Research Support of the State of Piauí (FAPEPI) developed at UFPI in 2013.1. He is currently Adjunct III Professor of Chemistry at the Center for Nature Sciences (CCN) since 2013.2 . Currently, it is researching the following inorganic oxides of the Scheelite / Wolframite families with the general formula [ABO4], tungstates and molybdates of the formula [A2BO4/A2B3O12] and also some Perovskites with the general formula [ABO3]. The main objective is the structural / electronic analysis and investigation of the photoluminescent and photocatalytic properties of these materials in an orderly and / or disordered form. In addition, we also studied the influence of different compositions of the network modifiers (A = Ca, Ba, Sr, Pb, Cd, Ni, Sn, Co, In, Y, Zn, Fe, Bi, Co, Ag and Mn) and of the network formers (B = Ti, Zr, W, and Mo) in the electronic structure and physico-chemical properties of these ceramic materials. The main synthesis methods used are: Polymeric precursors, sleepchemical, precipitation, co-precipitation, conventional hydrothermal / solvothermic and hydrothermal / solvent assisted microwave.
