I am a PhD candidate and Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher (EXPERT project) at The University of Sheffield, working in the Natural Language Processing group on the Department of Computer Science. My supervisor is Dr. Lucia Specia and my research focus on the use of discursive information for quality estimation of machine translations. I received a MSc from University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, in 2013. My dissertation title was "VerbNet.BR: the semi-automatic construction of an on-line and domain-independent Verb Lexicon for Brazilian Portuguese". I worked in the Interinstitutional Center for Computational Linguistics (NILC), under supervision of Dr. Sandra Aluísio. I received a BSc from USP in 2010. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
