Ph.D in Genetics and Molecular Biology (2013) with specialization in Genetics of microorganisms at State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Has experience in molecular biology and biotechnology, with an emphasis on genetics and ecology of bacteria, acting on the following topics: gene cloning, overexpression of proteins with biotechnological potential, functional genomics, agricultural research, conjugal gene transfer involving the bacteria of Bacillus cereus group, Bacillus thuringiensis (cry1Ac), detection of virulence factors, biocontrol, biosafety and bioethics.
