Graduated in Biological Sciences at Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), Master in Plant Biology and PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology at State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Post-Doctorate in Epigenetics at University of Córdoba (UCO, Spain) and Post -doctorate in abiotic stress at (current). He taught an Introduction to Epigenetics course at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) in 2017 and was a Substitute Professor at the Department of Plant Physiology at UFLA in 2019 teaching as subjects Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology. He has experience in the field of Plant Development with emphasis on Molecular Biology, and works in the following lines of research: developmental biology, genetic and epigenetic control of flowering, biotechnology and plant responses to abiotic stresses.
