Fabíola Andréa Silva is Undergraduate in History (Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos - 1988), Master in Social Anthropology (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul - 1992), a PhD in Social Anthropology (Universidade de São Paulo - 2000), Post Doctoral in Archeology (Universidade de São Paulo - 2002). She is currently a professor and researcher in the Universidade de São Paulo at the Museu de Arqueologia e Ethnologia. She works in the areas of Archeology and Anthropology, with an emphasis on Collaborative Archeology, Ethnoarchaeology, Indigenous Ethnology and Anthropology of Objects and Technology. Her cientific production is dedicated to the following subjects: Material Culture, Formation Processes of the Archaeological Record, Curating of Indigenous Collections, Archeology in Indigenous Land. Since the 1990s she has been conducting ethnographic and (ethno)archaeological research with different indigenous peoples (Kaingang, Xingu Asurini, Kayapó-Xikrin, Terena, Kayabi).
