Have Degree in Biology Sciences, Methodist University of Piracicaba (1991) and PhD in Biology (Cellular and Molecular Biology) by Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2003). He is currently an associated professor at the Center for Agricultural Sciences - UFSCAR campus Araras and develops research projects in ecotoxicology of bees through the use of tools in the areas of Molecular and Cell Biology. Participates in projects developed in different countries in order to understand the impact of human actions on the dynamics of pollinators and pollination processes, especially bees. Part of the network established by the FAO / UN plan to cover deficiencies in knowledge about bees to establish new pathways for sustainable use of pollinators. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
