Graduated (bachelor) in physical therapy at UNESP (2000), specialization (Sensu Lato) in Prevention and Spinal Pathologies at FMU (2002) and master's degree (2006, area of concentration: Cell Biology) and doctoral degree - PhD - (2011, area of concentration: Human Anatomy) in Cellular and Structural Biology at UNICAMP. Currently is a professor at Universidade do Oeste Paulista (UNOESTE) and also a volunteer contributor researcher in the Department of Structural and Functional Biology (Human Anatomy) of the Institute of Biology (UNICAMP) and member of the Regeneration and Plasticity Laboratory of the Bone Tissue. Has experience in biomechanics of softs tissues, extracellular matrix, biochemistry and morphology of tendons and bones under effect of physical exercise, alcohol and muscular dystrophy.
