Currently, is associate professor at Universidade Estadual de Campinas and member of the editorial board of the journal CMES - Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences. Has experience in mechanical and civil engineering, focusing on structural mechanics, acting on the following subjects: boundary element method, composite materials, anisotropic elasticity, fracture mechanics and bonded structures.
