Full Professor since 2013 at the Department of Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, University of São Paulo (FOUSP), where I joined as a Assistant Professor, since 1997. Graduated in Dentistry at the Federal University da Bahia (1988), obtained all his postgraduate degrees at FOUSP, Master's in Dentistry (1993), Doctorate in Dentistry (1996) and Associate Professor (2004). I currently work with undergraduate students in the Dentistry 1 and Dental Anatomy disciplines, where I teach theoretical and practices classes, as well as seminars. Accredited in the Graduate Program in Dentistry at FOUSP since 1998, it works mainly in the adherence theme. Currently, he has sought to investigate the formation of the adhesive interface on modified dental substrates. From 2018 to 2019, I was engaged in the Visiting Research Scholar Program at the College of Dentistry, University of Illinois at Chicago, where I developed research projects related to the area of dental adhesion and in-depth studies of the modified, clinically relevant dental substrate and its relationship with the formation of the adhesive interface.
