has Bsc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Msc. and Ph.D. in Space Geophysics, with one year enrollment in a program as non-degree Ph.D. student at Cornell University, USA. Throughout 2008-2010 earned a post-doctoral fellow in the group of aeronomy and space science at Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE), Brazil. Currently is an associate professor at Universidade do Vale do Paraíba (Univap) teaching in the school of Electrical Engineering and member of the graduate program in Physics and Astronomy. Actually is working with the following subjects: ionospheric monitoring by GPS, ionosondes, optical instruments and in-situ satellite measurements, ionospheric effects on signals from global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), ionosphere/thermosphere coupling processes, ionospheric modeling, ionospheric scintillation, radio occultation by GPS, and ionospheric radiotomography.
