Universidade do Vale do Paraíba (UNIVAP). Instituto de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento (IP&D)  (Institutional affiliation for the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

has Bsc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Msc. and Ph.D. in Space Geophysics, with one year enrollment in a program as non-degree Ph.D. student at Cornell University, USA. Throughout 2008-2010 earned a post-doctoral fellow in the group of aeronomy and space science at Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE), Brazil. Currently is associate professor at Universidade do Vale do Paraíba (Univap) teaching in the school of Electrical Engineering and member of the graduate program in Physics and Astronomy. Actually is working with the following subjects: ionospheric monitoring by GPS, ionosondes, optical instruments and in-situ satellite measurements, radio occultation by GPS, ionospheric effects on GNSS positioning and systems, ionospheric modeling, ionospheric scintillation prediction, and ionospheric radiotomography.
