Researcher at Center for Meteorological and Climatic Researches in Agriculture (CEPAGRI/UNICAMP) since 1987, being its Director from August/2002 to August/2008. Senior Member of IEEE and IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society. Has experience in Agricultural Engineering, focusing on Agricultural Planning, Agrometeorology, Remote Sensing, Image Processing, Agricultural Zonning and Climate Change. According to the AD Scientific Index 2021, published in October 2021, he was ranked among the 15 most productive scientists in South America, the 17 in Brazil, and the 23 in the World and Unicamp.
