Aleardo is a full professor at UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista. He received the BSEE (1987), MSc in Electrical Engineering (1991) and the PhD in Electrical Engineering (1997), all from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas - Unicamp. His main focus is in Computer Science, mainly in high performance computing, performance analysis and discrete simulation tools. He leads the Parallel and Distributed Systems Research Lab at UNESP. He also have been a Guest Researcher at Fermilab (1992-1994) and a Visiting Associate Professor at University of Oregon (2010-2011). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
