Anita Mitico Tanaka-Azevedo

She holds a master's degree in Biotechnology from the University of São Paulo (1996), a PhD in Sciences (General Physiology) from the University of São Paulo (2002) and a post-doctorate from the University of Lille I (France) (2008). She is currently a Scientific Researcher VI at the Butantan Institute. She has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Biochemistry, with an emphasis on plasma protein purification and proteomics. She works mainly on the following topics: Plasma proteins and variability of snake venoms in function and factors such as: ontogeny, sex, geographic distribution, health, hemostasis and antivenoms. She is a full supervisor of master's and doctoral degrees in the Interunit Postgraduate Program in Biotechnology at USP/IPT/BUTANTAN. She has international collaboration with the University of Bordeaux (FAPESP-SPRINT) and a regular grant (FAPESP). CNPQ research productivity scholarship - level 2 (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
