Postdoctoral fellowships at Unicamp (1997), UFF (1998), and USP (1999), and Habilitation (Livre-Docência) in Applied Mathematics to Physics, UNESP (2016). Research: Quantum Mechanics, Wannier functions, tight-binding method, photonic crystals, novel two-dimensional materials, and fractional calculus. Recipient of a CNPq Research Productivity Fellowship (20122021). Faculty member of the Graduate Program in Materials Science and Technology (POSMAT) from 2003 to 2022.
