Postdoctoral fellow at Vertebrates'Comparative Anatomy Laboratory, Biological Sciences Institute, University of Brasília. Professor at the Zoology Department, University of Brasilia. Member of the Brazilian Society of Ichthyology Board of Directors. Have experience in Zoology, emphasis in Recent groups Taxonomy. Work with Heptapteridae, especially Brachyrhamdia and Pimelodela genera, developing studies concerning their anatomy, taxonomy, systematics, biogeography and macroevolution using phylogenetic integrative and comparative methodologies. Have interest in: comparative anatomy, comparative phylogenetic methods, taxonomy, systematics, biogeography. Part of the research group on Anatomy and Macroevolution of Vertebrates, from CNPq.
