Emerson de Oliveira

Holds a degree in Medicine (1999) and completed a medical residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics (2001) at the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM). Obtained the title of Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics (2002) from the Brazilian Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics Societies (FEBRASGO). Completed a master's degree (2005), doctorate (2008), and post-doctorate (2011) in Medicine (Gynecology) from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP-EPM). In 2024, successfully defended his Habilitation at the Centro Universitário FMABC, consolidating his academic and professional trajectory in the field of Gynecology and Obstetrics. He is qualified in Urodynamics and Urethrocystoscopy, Hysteroscopy, and Laparoscopy by FEBRASGO/AMB. Holds an MBA in Executive Health Management (2011) from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV).Currently, he is a member of the National Specialized Commission (CNE) on Urogynecology and Vaginal Surgery of FEBRASGO (2024-2027), Scientific Director of NEPAS (Center for Studies, Research, and Health Advisory at FMABC) for the biennium 2023-2024, and Scientific Director of UROGINAP (Brazilian Association of Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor) for the triennium 2024-2026. Since 2008, he has been a faculty member in the Medicine course at the Centro Universitário FMABC, where he is an Associate Professor in the Gynecology Department, supervisor of the Master's and Doctoral Programs in Health Sciences, Coordinator of the Internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and head of the Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Sector. He has been honored numerous times by the students of the course.He has participated in numerous national and international medical events as a speaker or attendee and has served on several examination boards for postgraduate candidates in strict sensu. He has published 57 scientific articles in specialized journals and supervised 18 master's dissertations, 7 doctoral theses, and 14 undergraduate scientific initiation projects. He has extensive experience in the areas of Health Management, Scientific Methodology, and Gynecology and Obstetrics, with an emphasis on Urogynecology, Vaginal Surgery, Videolaparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, Endometriosis, and Uterine Leiomyoma.
