Full Professor at the Institute of Chemistry at UNICAMP and Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (USP) in 1996, her Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 1998, and her Ph.D. in Chemistry from UNICAMP in 2001 under the supervision of Prof. Marco-Aurelio De Paoli. During her Ph.D., she completed a sandwich internship at Imperial College. She carried out two postdoctoral fellowships, one at Imperial College and another at USP. She has experience in the field of Chemistry, with an emphasis on the application of nanomaterials for solar energy conversion, focusing mainly on the following topics: light-emitting diodes (LEDs); low-carbon hydrogen generation; emerging solar cells (especially perovskite solar cells). In 2017, she completed a sabbatical at SLAC-Stanford in the area of synchrotron light applications for the characterization of energy conversion materials. In 2020, she received the ACS-SBQ Women in Academia Award. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and Associate Editor of the Journal of Materials Chemistry C, Materials Advances, and Materials Today Chemistry. She is currently the Director of the Center for Innovation on New Energies (CINE) and a level 1A researcher at CNPq.Contact: anafla@unicamp.br (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
