Full Professor at the Department of Chemistry of the Federal University of São Carlos. Member of the Higher Council of the São Paulo Research Foundation and Substitute Member of the University Council of the University of São Paulo. Currently serves as Vice President of the International Society of Electrochemistry. Recipient of the 7th edition of the American Chemical SocietyBrazilian Chemical Society Award Brazilian Women in Chemistry (2024), in the category Leader in Academia. Coordinator of PUBLI-SBQ. Former Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Chemistry at UFSCar (20162019) and Director of Dissemination at the Center for Sustainable Chemistry (FAPESP/GSK project, 20172022). Currently serves as Research Director of the CDMF (CEPID/FAPESP). Completed postdoctoral research at the University of Bath (20132014) and obtained her PhD and MSc degrees from the Graduate Program in Chemistry at UFSCar. Has extensive experience in Chemistry, with emphasis on Physical Chemistry, working mainly in the following areas: energy, hydrogen and ammonia production, electrochemistry, electrodeposition of metals, alloys and semiconductors, and corrosion. Former Coordinator of the Chemistry Teaching Degree Program at UFSCar (20082013) and National Secretary of the Ibero-American Society of Electrochemistry (20082016). Served as Director of the Electrochemistry Division of SBQ (20132015) and as the Brazilian representative to the International Society of Electrochemistry. Acts as reviewer and advisor for several funding agencies, including FAPESP, FAPEMIG, FACEPE, CNPq, CAPES, CONICET, UKRI and FAPEMAT, among others. Served as Associate Editor of the journal Química Nova (20232025) and reviewer for more than 30 national and international scientific journals. Former tutor of PET-Chemistry (20082012) and organizer of several national and international scientific events.
