The research of Prof. Rouxinol focuses on quantum superconducting circuits, particularly quantum measurements of qubits, nanomechanical resonators, and hybrid quantum systems. His technical expertise encompasses the fundamentals of quantum mechanics, quantum sensors, and the integration of novel techniques into superconducting devices, especially hybrid quantum systems. His research interests include developing hardware and software for low-noise measurements at low frequencies and in the RF/microwave regime for superconducting measurements, along with methods and tools for analyzing and simulating these quantum devices to determine their characteristics.Additionally, Prof. Rouxinol has experience in manufacturing and characterizing magnetic and carbon-based thin films, using techniques such as XPS, RBS, FTIR, X-ray, and SEM to investigate their elemental and chemical properties.He completed his postdoctoral studies at Syracuse University (NY, USA) between 2010 and 2015 and has since held a position at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP - Brazil), where he continues his research to advancing science in the field of quantum superconducting circuits and material characterization.
