Fernando Augusto Miranda da Costa

Graduated in Biomedicine from the Federal University of Pará (2005), Master's and Doctorate in Health Sciences from the University of São Paulo - USP, with emphasis in the areas of Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Immunology. He is currently an adjunct professor in the discipline of Bacteriology at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and Evaluator-BASIS at the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira-INEP. He is currently vice-director of the Faculty of Biomedicine at the Federal University of Pará. He has experience in the field of Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Biology and works in the following lines of research: Epidemiology of Sexually Transmitted Infections of bacterial origin and analysis of Medicinal Plants with antimicrobial properties applied to resistant bacteria.
