Graduated in Biological Sciences from Minas Gerais State University (2007). Master in Science - Parasitology by ICB/USP working with biochemistry of Plasmodium falciparum (2011). PhD in Science - Parasitology by ICB/USP working with molecular biology (regulation of gene expression) in P. falciparum (2015). Split PhD at Colorado State University (2013 - 2014). Post-doctorate at the University of Glasgow, working with molecular biology (CRISPR/Cas9 and induction of gametocytes) in Plasmodium knowlesi (2017-2018) Currently postdoctoral degree in the Department of Parasitology of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences - USP. Experience in the areas of Molecular Biology, Parasitology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics and Microbiology.
