Adjunct Professor at the Department of Materials Engineering (DEMa) at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), starting his activities at this institution in 2016. He is currently coordinator of the Graduate Program in Materials Science and Engineering (PPG- CEM) from UFSCar. He holds a degree in Materials Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (2011), a master's degree (2013) and a doctorate (2016) in Materials Science and Engineering from the PPG-CEM/UFSCar (CAPES 7). Held a sandwich doctorate for 01 year, 06 months at the Foundation Institute for Materials Science of the University of Bremen (IWT, Universiät Bremen), Germany, and 06 months at the Laboratory of Electrochemistry and Physico-chemistry of Materials and Interfaces at the Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble (LEPMI, Grenoble INP), France. In 2016, he held a postdoctoral position at DEMa/UFSCar with funding from FAPESP. Between February 2020 and January 2021, he carried out a Post-Doctoratal research abroad at the University of Grenoble Alpes, in Grenoble, France with CAPES funding, through an international collaboration project CAPES/COFECUB (FRENCH EVALUATION COMMITTEE OF UNIVERSITY COOPERATION WITH BRAZIL). His subjects of interest are: Metallic materials for hydrogen storage; Design of new metallic alloys for hydrogen storage; Design of metallic alloys assisted by computational methods; Casting processes with emphasis on the spray forming process; Development of corrosion and wear resistant alloys; Processing and physical metallurgy of high entropy alloys.
