He is graduated in Electrical Engineering (Specialization: Automation and Control) at University of São Paulo (2000), with Masters in Electrical Engineering at University of São Paulo (2003) and PhD in Astrophysics and Associated Instrumentation at University of Paris VI (Pierre et Marie Curie ) (2007). He has experience in Aerospace Engineering, with emphasis on Scientific Satellites, and in Space Astrophysics, with emphasis on data reduction for Stellar Seismology and Exoplanets finding, acting mainly in the following topics: instrumental modeling, high-precision photometry, signal processing, image processing and instrumental data analysis. He took part in development and exploitation of the French-led with Brazilian participation scientific space mission CoRoT (CNES). He is also in the development team of the scientific space mission PLATO 2.0 from the Cosmic Vision program of the European Space Agency (ESA). Its main research lines are payload instrumentation development of space missions based on stellar photometry and development of autonomous star trackers. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
