Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences at the Centro Universitário Barão de Mauá (2001), master and PhD degree in Basic and Applied Immunology and Pathogenic Agents at the Ribeirão Preto School of Medicine at the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP) (2005 and 2009), and post doctorate at the Genetics Department of the FMRP-USP. Nowadays, is a professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in the Microbiology Department of the Institute of Biological Sciences. Has experience in Molecular Genetics of Microorganisms, acting on the following subjects: Medical Mycology, Functional Genetics, dermatophytes, gene expression, host-pathogen interaction, antifungal resistance, immunology of infectou dissesses.
