Nowadays, is a professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in the Microbiology Department of the Institute of Biological Sciences. Has experience in Molecular Genetics of Microorganisms, acting on the following subjects: Medical Mycology, Functional Genetics, dermatophytes, gene expression, host-pathogen interaction, antifungal resistance, immunology of infectou dissesses.
