Currently is associated professor at IME - USP, chair at Technical Committee on Parallel Processing (TCPP) of the IEEE Computer Society, subject area editor of Parallel Computing and participates in many conferences Technical Committees. He as program, track or workshop chair of several conferences like:EuroPar, IEEE SCC, SBAC-PAD, CCGrid, ACM SAC, XP, SuperComputing e ACM HPDC. Has experience in Computer Science, acting on the following subjects: parallel and distributed computing, scheduling and agile methods. He is member of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), Senior Member of the ACM and of the IEEE-CS. Chair of TCPP of IEEE CS.
