He holds a dual PhD in "Human Movement Science" from the University Medical Center Groningen / University of Groningen and the São Paulo State University (UNESP). He has a Master's degree in Motor Science and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from UNESP (2013 and 2009). He gained experience as a postdoctoral researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science, in partnership with the "Center of Advanced Technologies in Rehabilitation / Sheba Medical Center" through the "Weizmann-IDOR Pioneer Science Fellowship" program. He is currently a researcher at Pioneer Science//IDOR and a member of the Posture and Locomotion Studies Laboratory (LEPLO) at UNESP. He is involved in multicenter research projects in Brazil and abroad. His expertise is in Physical Education, with an emphasis on motor control and neuroscience. He is currently engaged in projects aimed at understanding neurological and behavioral adaptations in postural control and walking during healthy and pathological aging. Additionally, he is part of projects focused on the benefits of physical exercise and additional therapies (such as non-invasive brain stimulation) for posture and locomotion in patients with neurological diseases.
