Agricultural engineer at ESALQ/USP, in 1998; Master and PhD in Agronomy from the same institution, in 2000 and 2003, respectively. I served as visiting researcher at the University of Florida (2010-2011) and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2018), United States. I was a researcher at Embrapa between 2002 and 2013, professor at PUC-Campinas between 2005 and 2013 and professor at FGV-Agro between 2008 and 2013. Between August 2006 and June 2013, I was visiting professor in a graduate course and advisor at ESALQ/USP. Since August 2013 I am professor in agrometeorology and crop modeling and, in 2014, he became an associate professor at the Department of Biosystems Engineering at ESALQ/USP. I was honored by undergrad classes at PUC and ESALQ. I have been a CNPq fellow since 2010 and published more than 100 scientific papers, 6 books and more than a dozen book chapters. I have been visiting 23 countries on scientific cooperation missions, lecturer and conducting field research. Since 2005, he has been coordinating research network projects with a national scope, involving large groups of researchers. He is a leader in fundraising and managing research groups; coordinates Tempocampo System, which advises producers and companies in the soybean, maize and sugarcane sectors in forecasting yields and interpreting the climate effects on crop performance. He is president of the Brazilian Society of Agrometeorology in the period 2021-2023, reelected for the period 2023-2025. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
