bachelor's at Ciências Biológicas from Instituto de Biociênicas - USP (1998), master's at Patologia Experimental e Comparada from Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia (2003) and doctorate at Patologia Experimental e Comparada from Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia (2008) and three postdoctoral studies at the Laboratory of Anatomic Macroscopy and Immunohistochemistry-Department of Surgery (2011) and at the Laboratory of Morphological and Molecular Pathology-Department of Pathology (from 2014 to 2016). Has experience in experimental pathology, with emphasis on oncology, animal models, in vivo and in vitro drug testing, hepatic pathology, immunohistochemistry, morphometric analysis of histological alterations, cell cultures and molecular biology. It acts mainly in the following areas: medicinal plants as source of new drugs and cellular and molecular mechanisms of the chemoprevention of carcinogenesis and cirrhosis.
