Currently, a Scientific Researcher at the Butantan Institute and director of the Applied Toxinology Laboratory. Experience in genomics, transcriptomics and molecular biology in general, with an emphasis on large-scale DNA sequencing methods. Acting mainly on the following topics: omics investigation of animal venoms and their effects, evolution of snake venoms, rear-fanged snakes and biochemical characterization of animal toxins.
