Luiz Flávio José dos Santos

Bachelor's degree (2008), Bachelor's degree (2009) in Biological Sciences and Master's degree (2011) from the Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences - UNESP - Jaboticabal, PhD in Biotechnology from the Institute of Chemistry - UNESP - Araraquara (2015). He is currently a professor at the Paula Souza State Center for Technological Education (CPS) where he teaches Biology at ETEC Bento Carlos Botelho do Amaral and Biochemistry at Fatec in Ribeirão Preto and Jaboticabal; He also works as a volunteer professor, teaching the subject of Microbial Metabolism at the postgraduate course at the Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences - UNESP - Jaboticabal. His knowledge is focused on the areas of basic and higher education; Enzymology of the digestive process in domestic animals; Kinetic and structural characterization of biomolecules that participate in the ossification process; and Enzymology of bullfrog metamorphosis (Lithobates catesbeianus); Although the objectives and content of each line of research are distinct and the projects are multidisciplinary, the diversity of analytical techniques used follows the central axis of enzymology and purification of biomolecules, always aiming at the training and qualification of its students. As a teacher at ETEC, he served as coordinator of high school courses, where he managed teams of teachers for the best training of students, carrying out projects integrated into the courses, among which the one that stands out is the Professions Fair, where he could contribute with students' professional choice. At FATEC, in addition to providing guidance on course completion work and scientific initiations, he develops the project Encouraging scientific initiation in high school where he can integrate university teachers and students with the school's teachers and students, which, among other things, enabled him to work as advisor for Junior Scientific Initiation. In the scope of academic productions, they have maintained constancy, organizing and participating in events; providing courses and lectures; supervised several high school and undergraduate students in monitoring or scientific initiation; published several times in event annals, book chapters and in indexed scientific journals.
