Gabriela Oliveira-Codinhoto is currently a professor at the Center for Education, Letters and Arts at the Federal University of Acre - Ufac. She has a degree in Letters (2008) from the São Paulo State University Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), campus of São José do Rio Preto, and a master's degree (2011) and a Ph.D. (2016) in Linguistic Studies, both from the same institution. She published the book "Strategies of relativization and alternative constructions in indigenous languages of Brazil", in partnership with Roberto Gomes Camacho, by the Cultura Acadêmica Editions in 2013. She has experience in Linguistics, with emphasis on Functional Grammar, working mainly on the following topics: Relative Clause, Subordination, Acquisition of Writing, Brazilian Indigenous Languages and Linguistic Typology.
